StashNote stores the data needed to manage the bookmarks, collections, and notes that you save.

Information stored

The following information may be stored on your device or in iCloud.

• URL
• Title
• OGP image
• Notes
• Collection information

iCloud sync

If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in iCloud under your own Apple ID.

Chrome extension (StashNote for Chrome)

The Chrome extension reads the URL, title, selected text, and any note you enter for a page only when you perform a save action, and passes that information to the StashNote app running on the same Mac.

• The information collected is never sent to an external server. The extension performs no network communication.
• Browsing history is not collected or stored. The extension only reads the page you actively chose to save.
• The extension does not store bookmarks or notes itself. Saving is handled by the StashNote app on your Mac.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are used.

Third-party disclosure

Neither the app nor the Chrome extension sells or shares your information with third parties.
